Conclusion. Playing cinema with natives

In this section we propose a discussion about teaching cinema, which we consider to have a fundamental role in the formation of young people in society today, based on the audiovisual. To do this, we call on different specialists in cinema and audiovisual teaching who work both in educational institutions and in other contexts outside the classroom, such as festivals and museums, within the Spanish context. We ask them about their points of reference and their methodologies, about the place of cinema in the curricula and about their strategies to make the classroom experience more dynamic. With different perspectives, our guests highlight, among other things, the importance of agreement between all the agents involved, of teacher training and of the value of audiovisual training for the comprehensive education of students as critical and free citizens.
