Abstract

This article deals with the homoerotic direction in Henri-Georges Clouzot’s The Wages of Fear. Taking the theories of Laura Mulvey and Steve Neale as a starting point, Revert examines how homoerotism underlies among the male characters of the film, rejecting the female sexual objectivization as reaffirming element of masculinity.
