Abstract

This article discusses the dynamic career of Raúl García, from his start as an animator for Disney to his most recent projects, emphasizing on his role as director in the development and elaboration of his two most important projects, El corazón delator and El lince perdido. With these films in mind, the author reflects upon the state of Spanish animation and the challenges that it must now face if it is to compete in a global market.
