Cinema without pause

Abstract

Based on the author Samuel Sebastian’s own diary, and his latest film, La pausa dels morts, a series of reflections are structured around the forms of creation and distribution in contemporary independent cinema, the situation of film directors, and the outlying circuits of digital creation. The article goes over the final phases of post-production of this film, its premiere at the Cinestrat Documentary Film Festival in Alicante, and the challenges the author has to face once the film distribution has started.
