Abstract

Our proposal aims to study the new cinematographic practices emerging in the Web 2.0 environment from the perspective of the audiovisual prosumer. The development and reduced price of new recording devices along with the birth of new Internet distribution channels offer an alternative space from those imposed by the industry. Our intention through this work is to underline some of the aspects in which the new audiovisual practices question the institutional cinematographic model, and more concretely, how those aspects separate amateur from professional work.
