Abstract
Cruz Delgado is one of the most important figures in the national panorama of traditional animation. Among his many accomplishments, the animated series Don Quijote de La Mancha (1979), which was made for Spanish public television, stands out among the rest and experienced great success at an international level. Now a well-known icon, Delgado has had a long career full of hits that he has achieved thanks to his perseverance and determination in the complicated world of animation. A self-taught producer, Delgado began working in the world of comic strips and with time was able to create his own animation studio where some of Spain’s classic cartoons have been born such as Mágica aventura (1973), El desván de la fantasía (1978), Los viajes de Gulliver (1983) and Los cuatro músicos de Bremen (1988).Downloads
