Abstract

This article discusses the process in which the directors of Nocturna (2007), Adrián García and Víctor Maldonado, created their directing début, explaining how the project came from being a mere idea when they were still students to a fulllength, studio-produced film. The article also reveals the creative and visual sources of inspiration for the film as well as the circumstances and processes which took part in forming the final product.
